people against wage increase fucking amaze me like “fast food employees get my order wrong sometimes; they don’t deserve to be able to afford a living” or “if their job – which often consists of unstable hours for shifts – doesn’t make them enough, they should either put in the time to find a new job which probably is going to have the same circumstances or just add another job to their schedule which is very easy to do” or “they should just go back in time and make better decisions because every factor that has brought them to their current living condition was totally a choice” or “they should have done what i’ve done and used the luck or advantages i was afforded to reach my current place in life; i’ve seen some people do it, so i’m pretty sure this is universally achievable” or “i only think a person is worth anything if they’ve stopped being poor”
