Nicki Minaj makes valid points about Black women artists and the media’s favoritism for slim body types that Black women have been saying since forever.
Then a hit dog attempts to deter Nicki’s claims as an act against feminism, plays victim, misses the point (like they always do), doesn’t care to see the point (like they always do), gets backed by the white media, and offers a backhanded gesture.
Who is surprised by this? *looks around and sees no hands*
Every time a Black woman shines a light on the racism AND sexism we experience, somebody wants to pry in, snatch the light, and make it inclusive for the “all.” It ain’t about you!
